How Revo Hunter Mode Works

Use the target control to identify a visible program and understand the actions it can expose.

Revo Uninstaller is a Windows utility developed by VS Revo Group. Version-sensitive features should be checked against primary documentation before a decision.

What Hunter Mode is for

Hunter Mode provides a way to act on an identifiable application from its visible window or icon rather than searching through a long installed-program list. It is useful for matching an open application with its installed entry, but a target window can belong to a helper process or shared component.

Use the correct target

  1. Save your work and identify the program you want to remove.
  2. Use Hunter Mode on that program’s own visible window or executable, not on a Windows system control.
  3. Confirm the resolved executable path and publisher before accepting any removal action.
  4. Complete the normal uninstall first; inspect only clearly attributable leftovers.

Hunter Mode is not a malware analysis tool. If a suspicious process cannot be verified, use Windows Security before executing or deleting unknown files.
